Our Holiday 2025 Radio Drama:
It’s a Wonderful Life
We are delighted to announce our holiday 2025 production, a radio play based on the Frank Capra classic movie, It’s a Wonderful Life, and adapted for stage by Philip Grecian. Performances will be at the Clinton Community Center (Halstead Street, Clinton) on Friday, November 28 at 3:30 pm, Saturday, November 29 at 2:30 pm, and Sunday, November 30 at 3:30 pm. Admission is free, as this is CAST’s annual holiday gift to the community.
A radio play is a new genre for CAST! The idea is that we perform the play as though it's on the radio -- minimal set and costumes, no blocking, but ALL the sound effects -- and it's performed for a live audience as though we are in a 1940s radio studio. We hope that you’ll be our studio audience for this first-ever CAST radio show!
As with our previous holiday one-acts, admission to It’s a Wonderful Life is free. It’s our annual holiday gift to our wonderful community.
“It’s a Wonderful Life” is based on the story “The Greatest Gift” by Philip Van Doren Stern. This production is presented with the permission of The Greatest Gift Corporation, and produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.
Doors open 20 minutes before curtain time.
